What I teach
You can book me for in person or online lessons through my contact page.
I teach a tailored approach to each student – working on what each student needs at any one time, developing an individualised, systematic approach to voice building, performance practices, artistry and expression. I enjoy exploring with students what their voices are capable of doing, unlocking freedom and helping students to develop reliable and beautiful voices. I work with beginners and professionals, across all contemporary singing styles and ages.
I currently work at Coastal Carolina University, in Conway, South Carolina near Myrtle Beach. At CCU I teach musical theatre, all contemporary commercial styles and jazz singing. I spent 2021-2022 at the Sharjah Performing Arts Academy, the only conservatoire-style bachelor granting academy in the MENA region with a BA Musical Theatre! I will be in Brisbane from mid May to early August 2023.

Testimonials
Best singing teacher I have ever worked with!
Stephie da Silva

I started lessons with Dale Cox at the age of 11. I conveyed my goals and dreams of being a singer and over these past 11 years she has dedicated so much time and LOVE into building my skills through individual based lessons. Coming onto the age of 23 I can confidently say that Dale has single handedly given me the competence and endurance to be able to so. Ranging from heavy duty touring and recording over the past 6 years, to building my confidence as a musician and a female in the music industry – Dale has been nothing short of spectacular. Truly, a staple in the fearless performer I am today and will continue to be as her guidance is so valuable to me.

Melissa Forbes
Head of Voice USQ
I have been working with Dale for many years and without her knowledge, experience, and guidance I would not have the voice or career that I have today.
Hayley Wilson
It is a joy to come to my music lesson each week with Dale.
Cece Shabam
I’ve had a handful of teachers in my time, and Dale is without a doubt the best.
Rachel Gobel
Dale will always go above and beyond for her students.
Caitlin Woodward
Dale has given so much great advice, not just on vocal techniques, but also health and performing.
Alicia Poulter
I’ve been a singer for over 20 years and had a range of vocal coaches during that time, however Dale’s instruction has been exceptional. Dale’s extensive technical knowledge and excellent teaching ability has made an incredible difference to my singing. She has armed me with greater knowledge of ways to continue to improve my vocals but also provided plenty of tools to help produce a better tone for a range of musical styles. All of which was achieved over zoom calls during lockdown!
